Donegal Gaelic Football History
Donegal made its breakthrough in Gaelic football in 1992 by winning the All Ireland Senior Football Championship under Brian McEniff. The county added a second All Ireland title in 2012 when Jim McGuinness guided the team to glory. In total Donegal has lifted the Ulster Senior Football Championship 11 times and has claimed one National Football League title.
Hurling has also delivered success for the county with victories in the Nicky Rackard Cup in 2013, 2018 and 2020.
