Askeaton Kilcornan AFC was officially established in 2023 when the smaller club AK United merged with the larger Askeaton AFC. Since this time the club has achieved great success with the under 14 Boys winning the Division 3 League, the under 16 boys team won the Division 2 League and with a 4-0 win over Broadford Utd, Askeaton Kilcornan AFC won the Weekly Observer Youths Division One League in 2024.
