Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit – Tech Sheet

It’s time to fly. Achieve record-breaking speed with the Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit running shoes. These runners feature a full Flyknit breathable upper and a carbon-fiber plate mid-sole which helps propel you forward as you run, letting you go that extra mile. These runners are an extremely similar, much more affordable version of the Nike Vaporfly 4% worn by Eliud Kipchoge when he broke the world marathon record finishing under 2 hours.

What’s new?
In comparison to the previous Nike Zoom Fly, this model features a full Flyknit sock-like upper. Flyknit is a knitted, stretchy material that molds to the shape of your foot allowing a more custom fit. It also provides more breathability with tiny holes throughout the seamless knitting.

Main Details
Neutral – for runners that have a normal pronation pattern i.e your foot doesn’t fall inwards or outwards when running and you do not need an arch support.
Flyknit material contours to the shape of your foot, creating a snug, hug-like feel. The tongue is integrated to create a sock-like look and feel.
Full-length carbon fiber plate which is very strong and lightweight and feels like it is propelling you forward. This is the exact same plate used in the Nike Vaporfly 4% elite runner.
Nike React foam cushioning is lighter, softer and more responsive than any other Nike runner. It is incredibly bouncy and you get 13% more energy return in every step.
